Manchester United have officially released updated squad numbers for several players ahead of the 2025/26 Premier League season.
In a statement published on their website on Monday, the club confirmed that new signing Bryan Mbeumo will wear the No.19 shirt, which was previously held by Raphael Varane.
Another summer arrival, Matheus Cunha, has been handed the iconic No.10 jersey following Marcus Rashford’s surprise loan move to Barcelona. Diego Leon, another recent addition to the squad, has been allocated the No.30 shirt.
There have also been notable changes within the existing squad. Diogo Dalot has switched to the No.2 shirt, which became vacant after Victor Lindelöf’s departure. Dalot had worn the No.20 since joining the club in 2018.
With Christian Eriksen leaving Old Trafford, the No.14 shirt remains unassigned, and Jonny Evans’ retirement has made the No.35 available.
Several academy players have also received new squad numbers for the season, including Bendito Mantato (70), Godwill Kukonki (72), Reece Munro (65), Chido Obi (32), Jack Fletcher (38), Ethan Williams (56), Tyler Fredricson (33), and Shea Lacey (61).
