Over the weekend, a player from Doma United FC reportedly got into a car accident while travelling back to Gombe following a game, which put the Nigerian Professional Football League in danger.
Many players were hurt in the event that happened along the Makurdi-Lafia route, but no lives were lost, according to the report from NPFL News via X..
“Doma United was involved in a road accident, many players injured, no lives lost. The bus somersaulted several times, but it is a soothing relief that no lives were lost,” Pooja reported via his X handle @PoojaMedia.
