Arsenal in Advanced Talks to Sign Bayern’s João Palhinha Amid Midfield Overhaul

Arsenal are prepared to make a move for Bayern Munich midfielder João Palhinha during the current summer transfer window.
Mikel Arteta’s squad is actively looking to reinforce its midfield options after the recent exits of Jorginho and Thomas Partey earlier this summer.
According to a report from German outlet Bild, the North London club has entered into “serious negotiations” in their pursuit to bring Palhinha to the Emirates Stadium.
The report further reveals that Arsenal have shown significant interest in the Portuguese international and that a deal was nearly completed prior to Bayern Munich commencing preparations for their 2025 Club World Cup campaign.
The Gunners have been proactive in the transfer market so far, already securing signings such as Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga, and Christian Nørgaard.
Additionally, Arsenal are working to finalize deals for Cristhian Mosquera, Viktor Gyökeres, and Noni Madueke. The club is aiming to conclude these transfers in the coming days as they gear up to face AC Milan in a pre-season friendly scheduled for next Wednesday.
