Vieri Endorses Inter’s Pursuit of Lookman as Winger Eyes San Siro Move

Former Inter Milan forward Christian Vieri has thrown his support behind the club’s pursuit of Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman.
Inter are currently engaged in negotiations with Atalanta for the Nigerian international, who was recently crowned African Footballer of the Year.
According to multiple reports, Lookman is also keen on making the switch to the San Siro, signalling a mutual interest in the potential transfer.
The Nerazzurri are reportedly prepared to offer around €40 million for the dynamic winger, although Atalanta are believed to be holding out for a higher fee.
Addressing concerns about Lookman’s age, Vieri dismissed the notion as irrelevant, emphasizing the winger’s proven impact and value to any squad.
“Lookman has experience, and that makes a big difference. He’s a game-changer, someone who can turn matches around. If there’s a chance to sign a player like Lookman, you do it,” Vieri told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Widely recognized as one of the standout performers in Serie A, Lookman played a pivotal role in Atalanta’s UEFA Europa League triumph two seasons ago, delivering a memorable hat-trick in the final against Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.
