Super Eagles Goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke Set for Shooting Stars Move

Super Eagles goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke is on the brink of joining Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Shooting Stars.

The 29-year-old has been without a club since parting ways with Sudanese outfit Al-Merriekh earlier this year. Now, he is set to revive his career by signing with the Oluyole Warriors.

Well-known in the NPFL, Olorunleke has previously featured for some of the league’s top teams, including Kano Pillars, Akwa United, Sunshine Stars, Abia Warriors, and Enyimba.

He was part of the Enyimba squad that clinched the NPFL title in the 2022/23 season, further cementing his reputation as one of the league’s standout goalkeepers.

Olorunleke also earned a spot in Nigeria’s squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Côte d’Ivoire, underlining his international experience and pedigree.
