Luis Enrique backs four PSG stars for Ballon d’Or

Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has identified four members of his squad he believes have what it takes to claim the 2026 Ballon d’Or.

The Spaniard named Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Vitinha, Fabián Ruiz and Ousmane Dembélé as potential winners of the prestigious individual prize.

Dembélé is the reigning holder, having collected the 2025 award ahead of Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal.

Following PSG’s emphatic 6-1 Champions League victory over Slovan Bratislava on Wednesday, Enrique highlighted the four players as genuine contenders.

“Kvara is a top, top player who can win the Ballon d’Or. The same for Vitinha, Fabián or Ousmane.

“When I hear ‘Ousmane Ballon d’Or’ song, I feel we can have another one in the future…”

PSG have a record 10 players included in the 30-man shortlist for this year’s Ballon d’Or, the first time a club has had 10 nominees on the list.
