Rivers United Football Club has announced that fans will be granted free access to the stadium for their opening home fixture of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) campaign, where they will host Kwara United.
The team, known as the Pride of Rivers, is set to square off against Kwara United at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium this Sunday, with the match slated to begin at 4 p.m.
This development was confirmed in an official statement issued by the club’s management on Thursday.
They called on the club’s fanbase to come out in full support for the crucial fixture.
Rivers United began their season with a 1-1 stalemate against reigning NPFL titleholders, Remo Stars, in their first game of the campaign.
