Arsenal Shift Focus from Rodrygo to Eze and Gordon as Brazilian Eyes Bigger Move than Spurs

Arsenal have cooled their interest in Real Madrid winger Rodrygo as the club now prioritizes the signings of Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze and Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon, according to Diario AS.

Rodrygo has attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. However, the Brazilian international is reportedly uninterested in a move to Spurs, as he considers the Premier League side below his ambitions.

The 24-year-old remains one of three players Real Madrid are willing to offload during the current transfer window. Despite the speculation, Rodrygo is seeking assurances from manager Xabi Alonso regarding increased playing time next season.

Rodrygo was not a regular feature in Alonso’s lineup during the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, a tournament ultimately won by Chelsea. His future at the Santiago Bernabéu now hinges on whether those playing time guarantees materialize.
