Tense Osimhen Transfer Talks: Napoli President Reportedly Rejected Galatasaray with Harsh Words

Turkish football analyst Ugur Karakullukçu has disclosed striking details about a heated confrontation between Galatasaray officials and Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis amid ongoing negotiations for striker Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen, 26, enjoyed a sensational season while on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, having joined the Turkish giants last year. The Nigerian forward registered an impressive tally of 37 goals and eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions, playing a pivotal role in helping Galatasaray clinch a domestic double.
Despite his stellar performances, discussions between Galatasaray and Napoli over a permanent deal for the forward have yet to yield an agreement.
Commenting on the situation, Karakullukçu recounted what he described as a fiery exchange between the two parties during the negotiation process.
“While Galatasaray’s representatives were in Italy to negotiate for Osimhen, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis told the intermediary on his yacht, ‘Tell those people I am not selling to Galatasaray. They should get lost,’” Karakullukçu revealed via habersarikirmizi.
He added, “In fact, he didn’t exactly say ‘get lost’—his words were far harsher. I’m just softening it here. That’s exactly what happened.”
The transfer saga now hangs in uncertainty as tensions appear to escalate between both clubs.
