Aluma Hails Warri Wolves After NPFL Promotion, Eyes NNL Title Against Wikki Tourists

Warri Wolves head coach, Napoleon Aluma, has applauded his team for their impressive performance that secured promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The Seasiders clinched the top spot in Group B of the Nigeria National League (NNL) playoffs with a 2-1 win over Crown FC, sealing their return to the NPFL after a four-year absence.
Aluma praised the determination and focus of his players, especially in overcoming a brief setback during the game.
“I had so much confidence in my team. Despite the error from my goalkeeper, who has been one of the best throughout the regular season, we stayed focused and got the win,” Aluma said following the match.
He also singled out goalkeeper Joke Efevwerha for keeping his composure despite the mistake that could have unsettled the team.
With promotion secured, Warri Wolves will now face Wikki Tourists in a final clash to determine the overall champions of the 2024–25 NNL season.
