The National Assembly will, this week, pass the 2024 appropriation bill budget into law

Leader of the Senate, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, who disclosed this on Monday, however pleaded with Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu, saying he assumed office with an ambitious plan to rebuild, reconstruct and revamp the country’s troubled economy.

Bamidele, who represents Ekiti Central Senatorial District in the upper legislative chamber, spoke while distributing 3,000 bags of rice to his constituents and supporters  across the state in the spirit of Christmas and new year celebrations.

In his Christmas message, Bamidele preached peaceful co-existence among all ethnic nationalities across the federation, warning that no country could witness development progress in an atmosphere of ethnic disharmony.

This was contained in a statement by his Directorate of Media and Public Affairs in Iyin Ekiti, the home country and made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti.

The chairman of the Southern Senators Forum stated that the process of economic reconstruction has started already, adding “All Nigerians, whether in the cities or remote villages, will start experiencing the gains of economic programmes President Tinubu has initiated under his Renewed Hope Agenda.
