Nigerian pastor and actor, Jimmy Odukoya, has publicly introduced Pastor Mo Jasmine as his new wife, while confirming that his previous marriage to Kemi Odukoya had ended.
Jimmy made the announcement during a Sunday service at the Fountain of Life Church, where he serves as senior pastor, presenting Mo Jasmine to the congregation for the first time.
Addressing members of the church, he explained that he had been carrying out his pastoral responsibilities alone since assuming leadership of the church in 2023, following the death of his father, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya.
He said he had since found someone suitable to share his life and responsibilities with.
“Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you for the first time Pastor Mrs Odukoya,” he told the congregation.
The church also congratulated the couple in an Instagram post featuring pictures and videos of them, describing Mo Jasmine as the church’s First Lady.
The announcement has drawn attention because Jimmy had kept the end of his first marriage private, leaving some members of the public unaware that he and Kemi Odukoya were no longer together.
Jimmy and Kemi got married in 2013 and have two children together. However, details surrounding the breakdown of their marriage have not been made public.
Prior to the announcement, many people had assumed that the pastor was still married to Kemi.
