Inter Lagos coach Olutayo admits Ranchers Bees deserved more than a draw

Inter Lagos interim manager Olusanjo Olutayo has acknowledged his side’s shortcomings after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Ranchers Bees in their Matchday 11 encounter at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, on Sunday.

Quyum Akinpelu and Oscar Gabriel found the net for both sides in the contest.

Speaking after the match, Olutayo conceded that the visitors delivered a superior performance and created more opportunities.

“All things being equal, Ranchers Bees should have beaten us, they created more chances than us and they pressed higher than us,” Olutayo told Sporting Theory.

He also blamed his players for failing to execute the tactical instructions given during preparations.

“My players failed to recollect everything that has been taught in preparation for the game.”

The young tactician, however, assured supporters that the team would address its weaknesses before their next league fixture against Ikorodu City.
