Social media personality and financial commentator, GehGeh, has challenged activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), to redirect his attention towards President Bola Tinubu, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
GehGeh made the remarks while responding to what he described as threats by VDM to damage his reputation.
Speaking during the exchange, GehGeh maintained that his responsibility as a financial commentator was to offer advice, noting that individuals were free to accept or disregard his recommendations but would ultimately bear the consequences of their financial decisions.
He questioned why VDM had chosen to target him, arguing that the activist could channel his influence towards more prominent political figures instead.
“If VeryDarkMan wan bring anybody down, na me be the right person to bring down? Let’s be honest, Tinubu is there, APC is there, Wike is there, go and bring them down,” he said.
GehGeh further argued that VDM’s influence could be more beneficial to Nigerians if directed towards holding political leaders accountable.
“You get power to bring people down but APC and Wike is still there, bring those people down it will benefit Nigeria,” he added.
He also maintained that VDM could not ruin his reputation unless he engaged in wrongdoing, suggesting that he could equally use his own social media platform to call out the activist if he acted improperly.
The exchange comes amid a public disagreement between the two social media personalities over GehGeh’s comments and VDM’s reported threat to damage his reputation.
