Funke Akindele, Waje, Bisola, Chioma Chukwuka unite for ‘Ore Mi’ soundtrack

Funke Akindele is bringing four familiar faces from her upcoming film, The Four: No One Fights Alone, together for a musical collaboration.
The actress and filmmaker has teamed up with Bisola Aiyeola, Waje and Chioma Chukwuka to record ‘Ore Mi’, one of the soundtracks for the movie.
Akindele announced the collaboration on Instagram on Tuesday, revealing that the four women stepped into the studio to create a song rooted in friendship, love and shared experiences.
According to the filmmaker, the track draws inspiration from the folktale-style storytelling many Nigerians grew up with, using music to explore the connection between friends.
She described the recording as something personal and familiar, saying the women “cooked something special” together.
‘Ore Mi’ was produced by Tyanx.
The collaboration also extends the relationship between the four actresses beyond the recording studio, as Akindele, Aiyeola, Waje and Chukwuka all feature in The Four: No One Fights Alone.
The film is scheduled to open in cinemas on December 11.
Akindele has encouraged listeners to stream the new song, share it and support the project as anticipation builds ahead of the movie’s release.
With the soundtrack serving as an introduction to the film’s themes of friendship and solidarity, ‘Ore Mi’ adds a musical layer to a project built around the idea that no one has to face life’s battles alone.
