Media personality Do2dtun has urged the public to allow the law to determine the outcome of the case involving Nigerian dancer and entertainer Poco Lee, while expressing personal support for the entertainer.
In a series of posts on X, Do2dtun said he hoped Poco Lee would overcome the legal challenge, describing the dancer as one of the most cheerful and respectful people he has encountered in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
According to him, Poco Lee is generally known for bringing positive energy into social settings, avoiding unnecessary confrontations and maintaining cordial relationships with people around him.
Do2dtun, however, stressed that his personal experience of Poco Lee does not amount to a dismissal of the allegations before the court.
He said the accusations were serious and that the legal process should be allowed to establish the facts.
“I hope Poco Lee beats this,” Do2dtun wrote, adding that he would continue to stand by what he knows of the dancer’s character until he is proven guilty.
The media personality acknowledged that nobody can have complete knowledge of another person’s behaviour behind closed doors. However, he argued that people who interact closely with others over time can observe patterns in their conduct.
While describing Poco Lee as a “good guy with a good heart,” Do2dtun said he would not prejudge the case.
At the same time, he emphasised that the person making the allegations should not be disregarded.
“I won’t judge him, but I won’t dismiss the alleged victim’s feelings. Everyone deserves a fair share of justice. If this is true, then let the law take its course,” he said.
Do2dtun also pointed to what he described as Poco Lee’s lack of previous public scandals and his reputation for avoiding disputes.
He said the dancer is generally open-minded and inclined to protect his peace rather than engage in conflicts.
The media personality acknowledged that a guilty verdict would be painful for those involved, particularly the alleged victim if the claims are established.
He concluded by saying the outcome of the case would ultimately provide lessons for everyone involved.
