Former Big Brother Naija star Francisca Owumi has passed away following a brief illness.
The reality star, who was the runner-up in the inaugural season of the BBNaija television show in 2006, died on August 29, 2024.
Her family announced her death on social media with a heartfelt tribute: “A daughter and sister. May her soul rest in peace. Amen.”
Francisca, celebrated for her dynamic dance moves, was a prominent contestant alongside the show’s winner, Katung Aduwak, as well as Gideon Okeke, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, and Maureen Osuji.
After her time on the show, she briefly ventured into the Nigerian music industry, releasing singles such as “Diva” and “Gbadun You.”
