Vice PresideShettima Begins 2-Day Working Visit to Sweden to Enhance Trade Relations

Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Sweden for a two-day working visit aimed at strengthening trade and bilateral relations between Nigeria and Sweden.

Accompanied by Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and heads of various government agencies, Shettima’s visit is at the invitation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

During his time in Sweden, the Vice President will engage in high-level discussions with key government officials, including a scheduled meeting with Crown Princess Victoria and the Swedish Prime Minister.

Key areas of collaboration that Shettima will focus on include ICT, digitalization, education, sustainable transport, agriculture, and mining.

The visit underscores Nigeria’s commitment to fostering international partnerships that can drive economic growth and development.

Shettima is expected to return to Nigeria on Saturday.
