From his early political beginnings with the Alliance for Democracy (AD), through the transformation into the Action Congress (AC), Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), and ultimately the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Basiru has remained a steadfast progressive, driven by principles and vision.
In his current role as National Secretary, Senator Basiru has brought to bear his exceptional leadership, professionalism, and dedication, significantly strengthening the operations of the APC National Secretariat. His commitment and diligence continue to inspire confidence across all levels of the party.
