Afrobeats star John Njenga-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has revealed that he’s been apart from his daughter for some time, expressing deep emotions over the separation.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account, the ‘Shake Body’ crooner wrote:
“I miss my daughter so much… I haven’t seen her in a while… she’s growing up too fast.”
His heartfelt post comes amid ongoing speculation about a possible rift in his marriage to Precious Hassanity, whom he married in 2021. The couple welcomed their daughter in March 2023.
While Skales has previously denied rumours of a divorce, tensions became public last year when he accused Precious of being unsupportive and allegedly mocking his music career online.
Though he’s kept a relatively low profile regarding the status of his relationship in recent months, his latest post suggests that the family strain may be taking a personal toll—particularly when it comes to his bond with his child.
