Plateau United have named Gideon Izang as their new General Manager following a management restructuring approved by the Plateau State Government.
Izang previously served as the club’s Sporting Director before his promotion, while Dr Alhassan Yakmut will remain acting chairman until further notice.
The state government said the changes are designed to strengthen the club’s administration, improve professionalism and provide strategic direction for better performance and long-term development.
Plateau United have made a positive start to the 2026-27 Nigeria Premier Football League season, recording four wins, four draws and three defeats from 11 matches.
