Jobe Bellingham earns first England call-up as Palmer misses out

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jobe Bellingham has received his first England senior call-up, joining older brother Jude in Thomas Tuchel’s squad for the upcoming Nations League fixtures.
Fulham youngster Josh King and Liverpool winger Rio Ngumoha are also included as England prepare to face Croatia and Spain later this month.
Chelsea forward Cole Palmer has again been overlooked, with Tuchel saying the 24-year-old has missed too many opportunities to impress after withdrawing from the previous squad through injury.
Jobe earns his selection following an impressive start to his second season in Germany, while King has caught attention despite Fulham’s struggles in the Premier League.
England currently sit second in Group A3 with three wins and one defeat from four matches. They host Croatia on November 12 before travelling to Spain on November 15, needing just one point to secure qualification for the knockout stage.
Captain Harry Kane could also make history, having drawn level with former goalkeeper Peter Shilton on 125 appearances as England’s most-capped male international.
