Jonathan David to Juventus Could End Osimhen Transfer Hopes — Levent Ümit Erol

Juventus’ move to sign Canadian forward Jonathan David could potentially block a transfer for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen to the Turin club this summer.
This development was revealed by Turkish football commentator Levent Ümit Erol, who spoke while addressing the ongoing transfer situation involving Turkish giants Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe.
According to Erol, David, whose contract with French club Lille has expired, has rejected offers from both Turkish clubs in favour of joining Juventus.
“Jonathan David, whose contract with Lille has ended, has rejected offers from Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray. He is about to sign with Juventus,” Erol said, as quoted by habersarikirmizi.
“If Juventus signs Jonathan David, the possibility of Osimhen going to Juventus will be eliminated from there.”
Osimhen was outstanding last season while on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli. The Nigerian international scored 37 goals across all competitions, playing a crucial role in helping the club secure both the domestic league title and the Turkish Cup.
The 26-year-old Super Eagles star has drawn interest from several top clubs including Juventus, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Galatasaray, and Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal. However, he has yet to make a decision on his next destination.
