Nigerian skit maker Mr Macaroni has opened up about a challenging period in his life, revealing how the support of others helped him through it.
In a post on X, the actor said he broke down in tears after reading messages from people who recalled how he had helped them over the years, including acts he said he could no longer remember.
Mr Macaroni said the messages made him realise he had been focusing too much on what he had lost instead of being grateful to God for helping him through what he described as one of the hardest periods of his life.
He disclosed that although he was used to giving and rarely asking for help, he eventually had to seek assistance during his struggles.
According to him, an unnamed individual repeatedly helped him settle his debts, which he described as an intervention he believed could only have happened through God.
The actor also thanked his close friends and supporters for standing by him, as well as music executive Don Jazzy, who he said had supported him since his university days.
He also acknowledged the support of Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen and Pastor Bolaji.
Mr Macaroni said he is now in a better place, learning from the experience and focusing on things that make him happy.
He added that he does not regret helping others and believes the challenges have taught him important lessons and given him greater clarity.
