Toke Makinwa Celebrates 41st Birthday as a New Mom, Reflects on God’s Faithfulness
Media personality Toke Makinwa has expressed deep gratitude to God as she celebrates her 41st birthday, her first as a mother.
Makinwa, who welcomed her daughter Yakira Eliana in August, described the journey into motherhood as a dream come true while reflecting on how much her life has transformed in a year.
Sharing elegant photos of herself and her daughter dressed in red, she revealed that this year’s celebration is one of prayer and thanksgiving.
“365 days of mind-blowing grace. I started manifesting 2025 to be the kind of year that’ll have me saying ‘what a difference a year can make’. I honestly cannot believe the difference between last year, living it up in Spain, and now living in my dreams,” she wrote.
She added:
“Happy birthday, Omotoke. You are loved by God, a praise in the earth. Your life is a testimony that the promises of God will surely come to pass. It’s my first birthday as a mom, say a prayer for me.”
The birthday celebration follows her daughter’s dedication ceremony, which was attended by notable figures including Funke Akindele, Tiwa Savage, and Toyin Abraham.
Since becoming a mother, Makinwa has been open about her experiences, sharing the highs and challenges of motherhood while expressing how it has reshaped her outlook on life.
