Alexander Isak has expressed his delight after completing a British-record £125m transfer to Liverpool on deadline day.
The Premier League champions confirmed that the 25-year-old striker has signed a six-year deal at Anfield, surpassing the £115m Chelsea paid Brighton for Moisés Caicedo in 2023.
“I feel amazing. It’s been a long journey to get here,” Isak said after the move was finalized.
“But I’m super-happy to be a part of this team, this club and everything it stands for. It’s something I’m proud of and I’m really looking forward to it.
“I’m just happy it’s done and that I can get back to work. I’m looking forward to seeing my teammates and the fans, and getting back out there.”
