Beyond Limits FA has successfully defended its status as regional champions, clinching the 2026 Ogun State Federation Cup title following a competitive showdown on Saturday. The Ikenne-based outfit secured a 2-1 victory over Stormers SC at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta, marking back-to-back triumphs in the prestigious state tournament. Their journey to the podium was particularly noteworthy, as they eliminated the reigning Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, Remo Stars, during the earlier stages of the competition to earn their place in the final.
By virtue of their performance in this weekend’s finale, both Beyond Limits and Stormers SC have officially qualified to represent the state in the 2026 President Federation Cup. This upcoming national campaign offers Beyond Limits the opportunity to test their mettle against the country’s elite, following a domestic run that has solidified their reputation as a rising force in the Nigeria National League (NNL).
The two finalists will be aiming to replicate the success of Kwara United, who currently hold the national crown after winning the President Federation Cup last year. As the focus shifts from the state level to the national arena, Beyond Limits will look to carry the momentum of their consecutive title wins into the broader tournament, while Stormers SC prepares for another chance at silverware on a larger stage.
