Ola Aina is close to agreeing a new long-term contract with Premier League side Nottingham Forest.
The Nigerian full-back’s current deal with the Tricky Trees is set to expire at the end of the season. Despite earlier speculation linking him with a move away from the City Ground, Aina is now prepared to commit his future to the club, according to The Telegraph.
Aina has been one of Forest’s standout performers this season. The 28-year-old has made 35 league appearances, scoring twice and providing one assist.
He initially joined Nuno Espirito Santo’s team on a free transfer two years ago.
