2Baba Sets November 27 for ‘Oldest Young Man’ Album
Nigerian music veteran Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has fixed November 27, 2026, for the release of his forthcoming album, Oldest Young Man.
The singer announced the release date on Wednesday through his official Instagram account, describing the project as a collection of music that will stand the test of time.
In his announcement, 2Baba wrote: “The legacy continues. OLDEST YOUNG MAN drops 27.11.26. Timeless music, no expiration date.”
The album will be his first full-length studio project in six years, following Warriors, his eighth studio album, which was released in 2020.
2Baba has been building anticipation for the project over the past few months, gradually revealing details about its title.
In August, he offered an early glimpse of the album’s identity in an Instagram post, suggesting that the project would draw from his personal experiences and journey in the music industry.
“I’ve lived it, I’ve seen it, I’m still here. My new album, Oldest Young Man, soon comes,” he wrote at the time.
He also referenced the album title in September while celebrating his birthday, describing himself as the “forever the oldest young man”.
The November release will mark another major addition to the discography of the award-winning singer, whose career has spanned several decades.
