Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile and his longtime partner, Davita Lamai, have scheduled their wedding celebration for October 24, 2026, setting a date for a ceremony they first announced plans for months ago.
The singer made the announcement alongside a message from their son, who described his parents’ relationship as a source of love, support and happiness for their family.
In the message, the young boy reflected on the affection he has witnessed between his parents and the sense of togetherness they have built with their children.
He also expressed gratitude for his family, noting that he and his younger brother are part of their parents’ love story, before inviting people to save the date for the October ceremony.

In July, Zlatan and Davita disclosed plans for a wedding celebration while travelling to the wedding of businessman Soso Soberekon. Davita had invited friends and colleagues to the occasion but did not reveal a specific date at the time.
Earlier reports had also linked the couple to a private civil wedding. However, the newly announced October event is expected to bring together their family, friends and other loved ones for a larger celebration.
