Zinoleesky Exits Marlian Music, Launches Own Label After Seven Years

Nigerian singer Zinoleesky has officially ended his long-standing association with Marlian Music, marking a new phase in his career after seven years with the label.
The artist’s departure was confirmed on Thursday, April 23, 2026, as he moved to establish himself independently. His exit comes amid reports of a disagreement with label boss Naira Marley, although details surrounding the alleged conflict remain unclear.
Shortly after leaving the imprint, Zinoleesky unveiled his own record label, Zinodict Music, signaling the start of his independent run in the industry. The announcement followed the release of his first single under the new label, titled Nostalgia, which he promoted across his social media platforms.
A review of his profiles also shows that the singer has updated his bio to reflect the new imprint, further confirming the transition.
The development comes months after speculation about tensions between Zinoleesky and Naira Marley surfaced online in November 2025. At the time, the singer dismissed the claims and reaffirmed his commitment to Marlian Music.
His latest move, however, indicates a shift in direction as he takes full control of his music and brand. The transition is expected to draw attention within the Nigerian music scene, where artists increasingly explore independent paths.
