Tacha Revisits BBNaija Season 4, Says Disqualification Denied Her Victory

The reality TV star insists her eviction record proved she had massive public support during her season.

Former Big Brother Naija Season 4 housemate, Natasha Anita Akide, better known as Tacha, has said she believes she would have emerged winner of the show if not for her disqualification.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Hot Takes podcast, the reality TV star reflected on her time in the BBNaija house, saying her frequent nominations for eviction only strengthened her belief in her fan base.

“I knew I was going to win. I stood for eviction eleven times. That alone told me how strong my supporters were,” she said.

Tacha claimed she remains the most-nominated contestant in the history of the reality series, a fact she believes underscores the loyalty of her fans.

She added that surviving multiple evictions gave her the confidence that the public was behind her, and she was on track to win—until her unexpected disqualification.

Tacha was removed from the show in 2019 following a heated altercation with fellow housemate Mercy Eke, who went on to win that season’s ₦60 million grand prize.

Her exit remains one of the most talked-about moments in the history of the show, with many fans still debating what might have been had she stayed in the competition.
