Sunshine Stars have concluded medical examinations for their players as preparations intensify for the 2026/27 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
The club said the screening was carried out in accordance with league regulations to confirm the players’ fitness ahead of the campaign.
With the new season set to begin on Sunday, November 1, the players have reportedly welcomed preparations with renewed determination.
The Owena Whales added that measures are underway to improve players’ welfare, boost morale and ensure thorough readiness beyond medical assessments and friendly matches.
The club remains committed to assembling a competitive team capable of meeting supporters’ expectations.
Sunshine Stars will begin their campaign against Edel FC at Awka Township Stadium in Anambra on Saturday, November 7.
