South Africa killings: Police investigate ninth woman’s body found in Dawn Park

Fresh concern is mounting in South Africa after police recovered the body of another woman in the east of Johannesburg, bringing the number of bodies found in the area to nine.
The latest discovery was made in Dawn Park, as police investigate possible links between the deaths reported across Ekurhuleni in recent months.
Deputy Police Chief, Tebello Mosikili, says investigators are yet to determine whether the latest case is connected to the earlier killings.
The Nigerian Consulate-General in Johannesburg has issued a safety advisory, urging Nigerians, particularly women, to avoid isolated areas and exercise greater caution.
The mission also warned against sharing unverified information about suspected perpetrators, stressing that investigations are ongoing.
