NTI Teams with Data Company, FDSI and Digital Fortress EG to Train Youth for Digital Jobs

The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) has signed a cooperation agreement with Data Company, FDSI and Digital Fortress EG to advance the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology’s drive to prepare Egyptian youth for the digital labour market.

The partnership focuses on building capacity and enhancing qualifications in artificial intelligence, data analysis, and information and communication technology (ICT).

Under the agreement, the partners will jointly develop training curricula aligned with both local and international labour-market needs. Participants in the Digital Egypt Youth Initiative, Ready for Employment program will receive four months of hands-on training inside partner companies, working in realistic, on-the-job environments and earning vocational training certificates upon completion.

The collaboration also covers the Digital Egypt Youth Initiative, Career Start program, a six-month pathway that will feature supervised practical projects designed to ready trainees for professional careers in the tech sector.

Founded in 1983, NTI operates under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology as a leading educational, research and consulting body. The institute’s work supports Egypt’s digital society ambitions and its competitive goals under the Egypt 2030 framework.

Partner organisations bring sector expertise to the initiative: FDSI specialises in AI applications and data analytics with a focus on decision-making across financial services, governance, risk and compliance, while Digital Fortress EG is a major telecommunications and IT firm that delivers integrated solutions to support digital transformation and professional work environments.

The agreement positions the private sector to play a central role in designing practical, industry-relevant training.

The partnership underscores the importance of public-private collaboration in equipping Egyptian youth with marketable skills in AI, data analytics, communications and ICT, a strategic step toward producing a digitally skilled workforce aligned with the objectives of Egypt 2030.
