The Nationwide League One (NLO) has announced a new kick-off date for the 2025 season, moving it from Friday, April 11 to Wednesday, April 16.
The season’s opening fixture will see Like-Minds FC face Hyperbuzz FC at the Bwari Township Stadium in Abuja.
According to NLO General Manager Tayo Egbayelo, the shift was necessary due to challenges in completing club registrations.
The league also confirmed that the registration deadline has now been extended to Friday, April 11, 2024.
Remaining league fixtures will be played on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
