Nkechi Blessing Fires Back at Troll After ‘Egusi and Ogbono’ Hits 1 Million YouTube Views

Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has responded to a social media critic after her film, Egusi and Ogbono, surpassed one million views on YouTube.
The actress celebrated the achievement online while addressing a critic identified as Foluke, who had reportedly said they would rather watch Teletubbies than her film.
According to a screenshot shared by Nkechi, the critic had challenged her to record one million views on her next movie, promising to reveal their identity behind the anonymous account if she reached the target.
Following the film’s success, Nkechi addressed the critic directly, saying online ridicule had not stopped her from pursuing her goals.
“Dear Foluke…Abeg how we come be now? You think you are GOD? You people have shamed me with everything on this internet space, but one thing was certain: CONSISTENCY and the GRACE to carry on,” she wrote.
The actress added that she was no longer interested in discovering the critic’s identity, expressing confidence that she would continue to achieve more milestones despite the negativity.
“I am really not interested in knowing who you are, but as long as God lives, he will continue to bless me right in your face, and you will stay alive to witness every single milestone in Jesus name…AMEN,” she added.
Nkechi also attributed the film’s performance to God and thanked those who contributed to its success.
“Omo, this person talks gan oooo…. But what did my GOD do? Showed up for me and showed off… and from here it only gets better. To every single soul that made this possible, I will never stop saying THANK YOU,” she wrote.
The milestone comes amid the online scrutiny that often surrounds Nigerian entertainers and their creative projects, with Egusi and Ogbono reaching the viewership target set by the critic.
