Nigerian Magician Faddothegreat Breaks Guinness World Record with 50-Hour Nonstop Performance

Nigerian magician Faddothegreat has officially set a new Guinness World Record after completing 50 hours of continuous magic, eclipsing the previous 30 hours 45 minutes record held by UK magician Richard Smith.
The record-breaking performance took place at Pop Landmark, Victoria Island, Lagos. Faddothegreat delivered an array of illusions, mind-reading acts, and stage routines without pause, under the strict supervision of Guinness officials and continuous monitoring by witnesses.
A first-class Civil Engineering graduate, Faddothegreat described the achievement as a triumph of passion and national pride. “This was about proving Nigerian magic belongs on the world stage,” he said.
The feat has drawn praise from fans and the entertainment community, highlighting Nigeria’s growing influence in global performance arts.
