Ndidi Joins Besiktas in €8m Deal from Leicester

Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has sealed a permanent switch to Turkish giants Beşiktaş, departing Leicester City after more than seven years.

The Istanbul-based club confirmed the 28-year-old’s arrival on Friday via their official channels, announcing he had signed a three-year deal with an option for an additional season.

Ndidi links up with Beşiktaş under the management of Ole Gunnar Solskjær, following the club’s agreement to pay €8 million to Leicester City for his services.

The Nigerian international had been a key figure at the King Power Stadium since joining in 2017, making over 240 appearances in all competitions. During his time in England, he lifted both the Emirates FA Cup and the Community Shield with the Foxes.
