Nasarawa United head coach Mbwas Mangut believes his team will grow stronger as the Euromatch Nigeria Premier Football League season continues.
The Solid Miners claimed a 1-0 victory over Bendel Insurance, with Sam Pam scoring 10 minutes after the restart to secure all three points.
The result provided a response to their disappointing start, following a 3-1 defeat to Barau FC in their opening fixture.
Mangut acknowledged the challenge posed by Bendel Insurance but expects his squad to improve as they gain more playing time together.
“Yeah, it was a difficult game for us. It was our second game of the season, and I can boldly say we are improving game in, game out,” Mangut told the club’s media.
“We are, however, still very fresh, mixing experience with youthfulness, and I do know we will get better as we progress in this campaign.”
Nasarawa United will face defending champions Rangers in their next league outing.
