Former Manchester United scout Mick Brown has revealed the players the club is looking to offload during the ongoing summer transfer window.
Speaking in an interview with Football Insider, Brown emphasized that rising midfielder Kobbie Mainoo is no longer among those considered for sale, following a change in the club’s stance.
Brown disclosed that Manchester United are instead aiming to part ways with players such as Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, and others who have been excluded from pre-season training sessions.
“There are several players Manchester United are planning to move on,” Brown said.
“From what I’ve gathered, Kobbie Mainoo is not on that list anymore, following a shift in perspective.
“The club is looking to generate funds through the sale of players like Garnacho, Sancho, and others who have not been involved in pre-season activities.
“In my view, even considering Mainoo’s departure was a baffling decision,” he added.
