Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu appoints six new Special Advisers

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has named six new “non-cabinet” Special Advisers on Monday to operate in diverse positions across the state’s ministries.

Barrister ‘Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, Secretary to the State Government, made this known in a statement on Monday.

The new appointees are: Iyabo Ayoola, who has been appointed as Special Adviser, Central Internal Audit; Olalekan Balogun – Special Adviser, Economic Planning & Budget; and Akinyemi Ajigbotafe – Special Adviser, Community Development.

Others are Very Rev. Bukola Adebiyi – Special Adviser, Christian Religion; Abdullahi Jebe – Special Adviser, Muslim Religion; and Ismail Odesanya – Special Adviser, DAWN Commission & South-West Integration.

The SSG congratulated the appointments and encouraged them to work in line with Governor Sanwo-Olu’s vision for a Greater Lagos.

The appointments are effective immediately.
