Popular Ghanaian actress and singer, Efia Odo, has addressed swirling rumours about her alleged deportation from the United States.
Speculations had surfaced in sections of the Ghanaian media, claiming that the outspoken entertainer was deported—claims that left fans puzzled over her prolonged absence from the U.S.
Concerned by the rumours, a fan took to X (formerly Twitter) to seek clarification, asking, “Efia, why did they deport you? It’s been a while since you went back to the US.”
In response, Efia Odo promptly shut down the rumours, revealing she has been in New York for the past two weeks. To further silence the speculation, she posted a photo of herself in the city, captioning it: “I’ve been in New York 2 weeks now. Y’all be too nosey.”
Her response has since gone viral, putting an end to the unfounded reports and reaffirming her presence in the U.S.
