The Delta-born entertainer said he drew motivation from his partner, Taylor Jasmine, despite admitting that he did not undergo formal training for the fight.
“My woman, Taylor Jasmine. She’s the one that gave me the strength to win because I didn’t even train for this fight. Man, it wasn’t easy. With that stomach that looked like pregnancy, you see, I have strength,” the 25-year-old said.
Following his latest victory, Efe said he wanted to take on opponents from outside Nigeria, specifically mentioning American boxer and YouTuber DDG and former world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.
“I want an international opponent. I am tired of Akpi Speed Darlington and Portable. I want to fight with DDG. They are boxers. I want to fight with Mayweather,” he said.
However, the entertainer said he would not return to the ring immediately, revealing that he plans to marry Taylor Jasmine, who he said resides in Georgia, United States, before his next bout.
“When I get married to Taylor Jasmine, that’s when I’ll fight my next fight,” said the internet personality, whose real name is Darlington Okoye.
Efe also expressed interest in a potential celebrity boxing contest between entertainers Shank Comics and Kiekie.
