Crayon Accuses Mavin Records of Changing His Life, Announces Rift With Rema

Nigerian singer Crayon has accused Mavin Records of negatively changing his life, alleging that he lost his former personality after joining the record label. He has also announced that he is no longer friends with fellow artiste Rema.
Crayon made the claims in a series of posts on X, where he expressed frustration over his experience with the label and what he described as repeated mistreatment by people around him.
In one of the posts, the singer lamented the loss of what he described as his former loving and playful personality.
“What really happened to the old Crayon! Mavin killed him!!! They killed the loving and playful Crayon!” he wrote.
He said he joined Mavin Records as an innocent young man from Ojo, Lagos, with ambitions of becoming one of the biggest names in the music industry.
However, Crayon alleged that his experience at the label forced him to compromise his values before achieving fame.
He also expressed regret over decisions he claimed to have made before becoming successful.
In another post, the singer announced that his friendship with Rema, whose real name is Divine Ikubor, had ended.
“Me and Rema are no longer friends! Una don too hurt me! Una dey hurt me to the last minute! I don leave am for God!!!!! I no go talk again!” he wrote.
Crayon further appealed to Rema to address his fans and discourage them from attacking him online.
He also suggested that he could disclose more details about what he alleged Rema and another individual identified as Tega had done to him.
The singer, however, did not provide further details about the alleged incidents in the posts.
