Blessing CEO Breaks Silence on Drug Allegations: ‘I Don’t Smoke, I Don’t Drink’

Nigerian relationship commentator Blessing CEO has denied allegations of drug use, insisting that she does not smoke, drink alcohol or attend parties.
She made the statement during a video call with Nollywood actress Doris Ogala following Ogala’s release from detention. Ogala later shared footage of their conversation on Instagram.
During the discussion, Ogala told Blessing that allegations about her supposed drug use had circulated online while she was in detention. She said some social media users had reportedly suggested that Blessing needed rehabilitation and should not receive financial assistance.
Responding to the claims, Blessing rejected the allegations and maintained that her lifestyle was different from what some people had portrayed online.
“Yes, mama, I don’t smoke, I don’t drink and I don’t even party,” she said.
The commentator also criticised people who, she argued, formed opinions about her without having any personal knowledge of her life.
“Most times the internet just have a way of enjoying themselves, a lot of people don’t even know me in person,” she added.
Blessing CEO challenges online assumptions
The exchange highlights the scrutiny public figures can face over allegations circulated on social media, where claims may attract attention before the people involved have an opportunity to respond.
Blessing’s comments came amid online discussions about her personal life and the allegations raised against her.
Her statement was a denial of the claims. The video shared by Ogala did not independently establish whether the allegations were true.
The footage of their conversation has since drawn attention to Blessing’s response, as she pushed back against what she described as assumptions made by people unfamiliar with her personally.
