Former Big Brother Naija housemates Anita and Topher have recently addressed fan criticism surrounding the couple gifts they received during their time together on the show.
In response to the backlash, Anita took to Snapchat to speak openly about the situation, emphasizing that their relationship was rooted in genuine emotions but has since come to an end.
Addressing the public’s curiosity about their post-show relationship, she explained that they gave it a real chance, but ultimately, it didn’t work out.
Anita firmly denied any intentions of personal gain, underscoring her commitment to honesty and integrity.
She said:
“I’ve seen and heard the conversations happening online, and I feel it’s important to address them directly out of respect for those who have genuinely supported me. When I left the Big Brother house, there was a lot of curiosity around our relationship — and rightly so. We did give it a chance, but like many things in life, some work and some don’t. If everything had been shared openly, there would have been more clarity.”
