Liverpool face PSG, Arsenal takes on PSV in UEFA Champions League round of 16 draw

Liverpool takes on Paris Saint-Germain in a blockbuster tie in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 draw.

Arne Slot’s league phase table-toppers are the bookmakers’ favourites to win what would be a seventh European Cup.

Aston Villa’s reward for an impressive league phase campaign is Club Brugge. The West Midlands club are aiming for a shock lift of the trophy they previously won in 1981/82.

Arsenal, looking for their first ever triumph in the competition, will take on PSV Eindhoven, who defeated Juventus in the knockout play-offs.

A derby between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid is also in store, while Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich clash in a tantalising all-German tie.

The seeded teams – those who finished in the top eight places of the league phase – will have home advantage in the second leg.
