
Nigeria’s Flamingos have landed in Casablanca, Morocco, as they begin preparations for the 2026 Fifa U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The team arrived at 10:16 local time and has checked into the Ibis Hotel, where preparations for the tournament will continue.
Head coach Akeem Busari on Tuesday named a 21-player squad for the competition.
The Flamingos are in Group B alongside Poland, Puerto Rico and North Korea.
Nigeria will open their campaign against Poland on October 17, followed by group-stage clashes with Puerto Rico on October 20 and North Korea on October 23.
Morocco is hosting the tournament from October 17 to November 8.
