Nigerian centre-back Chukwuma Eze has moved to Villarreal on a season-long loan deal from Real Oviedo.
The Spanish club confirmed that the 22-year-old will feature for Villarreal B throughout the 2026/27 campaign.
Eze joined Real Oviedo from Ajuwa Academy in 2021 and progressed through the club’s youth ranks before spending time on loan at CD Llanes, L’Entregu CF and Real Avilés.
The defender recently renewed his Oviedo contract until 2029 after making 18 appearances for Real Avilés last season.
He has one senior appearance for Real Oviedo, coming against Levante in April 2025.
